Food Craft Institute conducted junior Master Chef competition in which teams from 15 schools participated. The competition was organized in two categories i.e. Non-Fire Category and Fire Category in which the students of 6th to 8th classes participated and show their talent without using any fire component while as the category of fire i.e. cooking on fire was organized for the classes 9th to 12th.
Joint Director Hospitality and Protocol Dr. Subash Chander who was the Chief Guest on the occasion encouraged the students to pursue a career in the hospitality sector for which there are ample opportunities.
Principal of Food Craft Institute Jyoti Bhatti explained the utility of health benefits of the various ingredients in order to have a healthy life style.
The preparations in both Fire and non-fire category were judged by a panel of experts drawn from the industry and Hotel Management professional.
The winners of the non fire category were Presentation Convent Sr. Sec. School Jammu, 1st Runner-Up Army Public School Domana, 2nd Runner-Up Army Public School, Ratnuchack.
The winners of the fire category were Delhi Public School Katra, 1st Runner-Up Govt. High School Dhammi, 2nd Runner- Up Heritage School Jammu.
