Maharashtra: Addressing a pre-election rally in Maharashtra’s Vidarbha region, Union Home Minister Amit Shah issued a warning to Pakistan and its sponsored terrorists that India will hit back in unprecedented manner if its security forces were attacked.
Addressing a public gathering in Melghat constituency of the state’s Amravati district, Shah said Prime Minister Narendra Modi has improved the security situation in the country. If one Indian jawan is killed, then India will kill 10 enemies, the minister warned.
Referring to the revocation of Kashmir’s special status, Shah said PM Modi and his government had done a great job by abrogating Article 370 of the Constitution.
He slammed the Congress and the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) for opposing the scrapping of Kashmir’s special status, while asking the two parties’ leaders – Rahul Gandhi and Sharad Pawar respectively – to make it clear if they favour the scrapping of Article 370.
“When Modi ji scrapped Article 370, Congress and NCP opposed its abrogation. When the entire country wanted integration of Kashmir with India, they opposed it. Rahul Gandhi said that ‘Kashmir me khoon ki nadiya beh jayengi’, but no bullet had to be fired,” the BJP leader stated.
