JAMMU:- The Central University of Jammu had submitted its consent for Direct Admission of Students abroad 2016 to the Ministry of Human Resource Development and the students from the foreign countries will now be able to pursue various courses at the University from the current session. This was informed today by Prof Ashok Aima while addressing a press conference here today.
He said that online registration for admission for 2016-17 will start from March 14 and end on April 15. He said that two programmes would now be taught at the main campus at Raya and six others will be taught at main campus from June this year. He said that one-time grant of Rs. 113 .57 Crore has been sanctioned by the Union Ministry of Road Transport and Highways for four laning of the road from Raya Morh to the main campus. He said that the pace of the construction work has now been doubled and hope that the road connectivity will be in place in two years and as the construction of the whole campus will take another 5-7 years.
