Four persons arrested in connection with the case of assault and theft
Akhnoor police has arrested four persons in connection with the case of assault and theft. On April 23 four men attacked and looted a wine shop salesman while he was returning to his home. The complaint was lodged with the Akhnoor police Station stating that some unidentified persons carried out this crime.
During the course of investigation police picked up a suspect who confessed to the crime and gave name of this three other associates.

Police also recovered the weapon of offence.
Police is further investigating this case.
