Fresh thunderstorms create havoc in Jammu and Kashmir

Parts of Jammu and Kashmir have been hit by fresh thunderstorms, creating havoc since morning. As per reports, the thunderstorm has spread panic in Ladakh’s Nubra valley as seven people have been reported missing in the occurrence. The missing people have been identified as Ali, Jan Bi, Shamsher, Talib, Roqee, Karim and Zainab and are residents of villahe Bogdang, Leh.

Thunderstorms have also affected the Pathanbagh area of Srinagar’s Nishat. The weather in the valley has turned damp since morning as fresh thundering shower of this season started drenching valley. However, the frequent cloudbursts and thunderstorms that have struck in many parts of the valley lately have created panic in several parts of the valley. The fresh rainfall has lead to a swollen Jhelum and water logging in several parts of the city.
