Srinagar April 17: Hundreds of people today assembled at Srinagar’s Grand Mosque to protest against the recent Tral Incident in which a civilian was allegedly killed by the Indian Army. Hurriyat (M) chairman soon after the Friday congregation prayers joined the protest, speaking on the occasion he said that Amnesty International and Human Rights Watch should take a serious note against the day to day killing and Human Rights abuses in Kashmir.
Soon after the Mirwaiz left the place violent protests erupted in Old City which are continuing till the last reports came in. During the protests people chanted anti-India and pro-Pakistan slogans as a result Police resorts to teargas shelling and aerial firing.
