From beginning of decade to end of decade, Virat Kohli Shares picture of his transformation


The end of the year 2019 saw the decade of 2010s coming to a close while the year 2020 marked the beginning of a new decade. As for the Indian cricket, plenty has changed over the last 10 years that started with MS Dhoni leading the Indian team to Virat Kohli being the skipper in all formats at present. Kohli took to Twitter to share a picture of his transformation over the past 10 years on Friday.

“Started from them flip flops, now we here!”, Kohli tweeted as he shared two of his pictures – one from the beginning of the decade and the other being current.

Kohli made his debut for the Indian team in a T20I match against Zimbabwe at Harare in June 12, 2010 which was the begining of the 2010s’ decade. Over these years, the Delhi lad has established himself as one of the biggest match-winners in world cricket.

Presently ranked No. 1 in the ICC Test Rankings for men, Kohli is widely recognised as the finest batsman of the current generation in world cricket. By the time his career ends, the right-handed batsman is expected to have most of the records in world cricket to his name.

Kohli, earlier, unveiled a new haircut as he geared up for the T20I series against Sri Lanka in style. The 31-year-old got his haircut done by the popular stylist Aalim Hakim.

Enjoying a brief period of break from the holiday season, Kohli and his wife Anushka travelled all the way to Switzerland to celebrate the new year. The couple was spotted vacationing with Bollywood stars Saif Ali Khan, Kareena Kapoor, Varun Dhawan and Natasha Dalal too.
