Ganja worth crores recovered at Gangyal

Jammu, November 23: Three kilograms of ganja (marijuana) worth crores has been recovered by Police at Gangyal  from  the possession of two persons during checking on Sunday.

As per reported in a local daily, the police has laid a naka at Gangyal Chowk while acting on a specific information. While checking, the police found two people roaming under suspicious circumstances. The police interrogated both the men and recovered 3 kg marijuana from their possession.

The accused were booked by police in a case under NDPS Act. The accused persons has been  identified as Santosh Kumar, son of Suresh Sahu, and Ravi Kumar, son of Inderjeet Sahi, both residents of Patna, Bihar. They have been taken to Gangyal police station where their sustained questioning was in progress till the last reports came in.
