Girl student from Army Goodwill school Wuzur shines


A young kashmiri girl, Miss Iqra Fayaz, resident of Anantnag who is presently a student of Army Goodwill school, Wuzur brought laurels to her parents and School by getting a best NCC cadet award in RDC -2015 conducted in Jan 2015 at New Delhi and being nominated to be given a cash prize of Rupees 35 000 by JAKLI girls NCC Battallion.


Miss Iqra Fayaz, daughter of proud father Mr Fayaz Ahemd Lone is a student of class IX at AGS, Wuzur. She joined AGS, Wuzur in 2011(Class 5th). She has been a brilliant student and has secured outstanding results in her academic career. The school teachers, staff and mentors are proud of Miss Iqra Fayaz as she has been providing exceptional results in the school. While studying in AGS, Wuzur, she has impressed everybody with her brilliance by securing more than 85% marks in the finals of 5th, 6th and 8th standard and has also exhibited great skills by participating in all extra-curricular activities.


Miss Iqra Fayaz has been a keen NCC cadet and has excelled in each and every activity or camp conducted by the NCC. She has attended many camp and parades as an NCC cadet. Some of these were pre – RDC at Nagrota in Dec 2013, CATC at Srinagar on 25 Mar to 3 Apr 2014, Himachal Trekking camp on 02 Jun to 11 Jun 2014, ATC at Srinagar on 19 Aug to 28 Aug 2014. Pre RDC at Nagrota camping ground on 17 Nov to 31 Dec 2014 and RDC-2015 at Army Parade Ground, New Delhi on 01 Jan to 31 Jan 2015.


Her endeavour has brought fame to AGS, Wuzur.  Her ardent passion for excellence was exhibited during RDC-2015 where she was declared   best NCC cadet from Jammu & Kashmir. 1 JAK LI Girls NCC Bn, in recognition of her efforts, decided to felicitate her with a cheque of Rs 35,000/-. She has been a role model for student of AGS Wuzur. Her success is an example and a motivation for all students to work hard for an assurance of success.
