GMC Managed to almost kill Comm/Sec Law yesterday

Jammu April 24: If the report of a local daily is to be trusted, GMC and Hospital Jammu, almost managed to kill a top bureaucrat with substandard saline last evening. Senior doctors had to intervene to stabilize the bureaucrat’s health which was steadily worsening after the injection of the saline.

According to the report, Commissioner/Secretary to the government Department of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs, Mohammad Ashraf Mir, was admitted at GMC for some illness, but his condition worsened after fluid was administered to him.

This is not the first time that there has been such a case where the substandard saline casually employed has been the reason behind severe reactions at GMCH. In fact, U4UVoice’s own photojournalist’s grandfather lost his life in a similar such case.

The doctors do not even  intervene in the cases of a poor patient. This intervention was only since the patient was a high profile bureaucrat.
