Just days after Reliance Jio announced its ‘Holiday Hungama’ offer, Airtel is back with a new offer to fight of the competition as the telco as the telco has refreshed its Rs. 399 prepaid plan to offer 2.4GB data per day.
As opposed to the 1.4GB of daily high-speed data, the Airtel Rs. 399 prepaid recharge plan is now offering 2.4GB of 3G/4G data per day to its customers.
While only a limited set of users will be able to avail the new Airtel Rs. 399 prepaid plan, the move is said to help Airtel to compete better against Reliance Jio that offers 1.5GB of daily data with a validity of 84 days at the same price. That being said, the closest Jio prepaid plan to Airtel’s new offer is the Rs. 448 pack that comes with 2GB of data per day for 84 days.
The Airtel Rs. 399 prepaid plan also comes bundled with unlimited calls (local, STD, and roaming) along with the 2.4GB data per day. The plan further offers 100 SMS every day while the validity of this plan is 70 days. However, there are some selected users who will be getting a validity of 84 days which brings the total data available to the users to 201.6GB (for 84 days).
Meanwhile, Airtel has also introduced a new prepaid pack worth Rs. 9 which comes with a validity of a single day. The pack is offering Airtel subscribers unlimited calling for both local and STD numbers, coupled with calls on the roaming network. The Airtel Rs. 9 recharge pack also offers 100MB of data and 100 SMS for the validity period.
