Government ignored Shangus constituency: Peerzada Mansoor

Srinagar : Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) senior leader and MLA Shangus, Peerzada Mansoor Husain has said his constituency has been totally ignored by the government in the recent expansion of administrative units.

In a statement he said he had demanded sub-division at Shangus, tehsil for Achabal, CD blocks at Renipora and Dethoo and four Nayabats at Telivan, Brentibatapora, Kothair,  Renipora, but none of the demands were met latter, with the result there is anger brewing among the people against this injustice. He said even the members from National Conference and Congress had also supported his demands before the Cabinet Sub-committee. He said he had also raised the same demands before the Bleloria committee and Mushtaq Ganie Committee.

He said the cabinet, which latter gave nod to the recommendation of the committees, belongs to the ruling alliance, and it has deliberately dodged our requests. He assured the people that PDP will take care of their aspiration in the future scheme of things in the state.
Husain said demands of the people are genuine and he will stand by them till justice is done in the matter.
