Government school in Rajouri bans national anthem
Rajouri: The Government Middle in Khoyas ( a remote village in Rajouri) has reportedly barred students from singing the national anthem during morning assembly prayers.
As reported in a leading daily, about 15 days ago, 2 teachers- Mushtaq Ahmed and Iftiqar Ahmed had put a ban on singing national anthem. When the parents of students came to know about this anti-national act , they along with other people of village protested against the teachers and the school management. The locals even demanded an investigation.
The teachers later acknowledged their mistake and apologised in front of the school principal, Khoyas police and local Tehsildar.
They have also assured that such mistake will not happen again.
