Governments committed to strengthen the road connectivity which is key to socio-economic development: Vibodh Gupta

“Inaugurates Alternate road from Horticulture office to New Bus Stand Rajouri”

Rajouri April 07: Member Legislative Council, Vibodh Gupta today inaugurated an alternate road from horticulture office to new bus stand Rajouri.Accompanied by officials of RDD, local citizens, and BJP leaders, MLC Vibodh Gupta inaugurated the road from a locality near Horticulture Office to New Bus Stand via Convent School.

The road has been constructed at the cost of fifty lakh rupees and was the main demand of the people of the area and will provide alternate road connectivity to the local population from new bus stand. While addressing the people present on this occasion, MLC Vibodh Gupta said that Rajouri town is going through an era of transformation and basic development. He also accused previous legislators of Rajouri for ignoring developmental aspects of town and said that people in many localities are still deprived of some basic developmental facilities which clearly shows ignorant attitude by previous representatives. ” I will not claim of anything but the result of my efforts are on the ground, ” Gupta said.

He further said that Central and State Governments are committed to strengthening the road connectivity which is key to socio-economic development. He said Central Government has been so liberal in providing free flow of funds for the development of Jammu and Kashmir thereby fulfilling the slogans of  Prime Minister Narendra Modi “Sab Ka Saath Sab Ka Bikas”.

He said several initiatives are in pipeline on the developmental front to ensure overall development of  Rajouri. He said the productive use of funds plays an important role in changing the socio-economic profile of the people.Asking people to come forward and to get actively involved in the day to day governance by providing feedback about the implementation of various schemes of government, the MLC  said.

Adding that the Rajouri town is going through an era of developmental transformation,and said that City’s Redevelopment Plan is showing its result towards decongestion and provision of urban public utilities.

District President  Dinesh Sharma said that said that coalition government has accorded focused attention to upgrading infrastructure to provide all basic facilities in every nook and corner of the state, right from its formation.
