Jammu, September 5: Looking at government’s failure to control the situation in the Valley even after 59 days of unrest since the killing of Hizbul Commander Burhan Wani on July 8, the Governor’s rule is likely to be imposed in the state to restore normalcy. That the all party delegation meeting with stakeholders in the valley did not provide many avenues for improvement of the situation, the decision may be taken soon.
As per highly placed sources, 6 MPs suggested Home Minister Rajnath Singh that being a sensitive state Jammu & Kashmir can’t be left in a state of lawlessness and chaos for too long.
Governor’s rule will be imposed mostly after the first week of Eid-ul-Adha which is on September 13.
