Govt committed to provide proactive, pro-people governance: Priya
Meets various deputations, takes stock of their problems
JAMMU- Minister of State for Education, Technical Education, Culture, Tourism, Horticulture, Floriculture and Park, Priya Sethi on Sunday met several deputations which brought to her notice their grievances, demands and developmental issues.
The Minister gave a patient hearing to the deputations and individuals and said that their genuine demands would be given due consideration. She said that government is alive to the public demand and is working hard to reach out to people and ensure effective and efficient administration at the door steps of people
Reiterating the commitment of the government to ensure proactive and pro-people governance Priya said that tangible initiatives are underway to strengthen and streamline the institutions of public service delivery and provide better amenities to the people.
“The present government is working on a comprehensive developmental roadmap and in this regard several developmental initiatives have already been undertaken by the Government and people will see considerable change on ground”, added the Minister.
Highlighting the various welfare programmes launched by the central and state government, she asked the people to take full advantage of these schemes.
Among various other issues the Minister was also apprised with the issue of release of pending salary under SSA salary, transfers, regularization of ReT teachers etc.
