Mr. Zulfkar said that the system would be started on pilot basis in district Samba in Jammu and district Kulgam in Kashmir. He added that for district Samba the inauguration of the online system would be done on August 16, while in district Kulgam the system would get inaugurated on August 25.

While asking all Deputy Commissioners to expedite work on Aadhar seeding, the Minister instructed that for districts Samba and Kulgam the seeding should be completed by the end of current month.

The Minister said that every new thing takes time to get perfect, adding that if FCS&CA manages to achieve success of even 50 percent in putting electronic Public Distribution System (ePDS) in place, it should be seen as good sign. He said replacing the old system with the new one will take time.
