Handsomeness doesn’t matter: J&K cop Imtiyaz Hussain says Imran Khan failed to save Pak from FATF grey list

Senior Jammu and Kashmir cop Imtiyaz Hussain, on Tuesday, took to Twitter to slam Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan for his efforts that have not helped the country to slip out of the grey list. Hussain, in his tweet, said that despite all the efforts by the ‘very handsome’ Imran Khan, his country continues to be on the grey list of Financial Action Task Force (FATF)’s grey list.

He further said that Khan’s looks won’t fetch the country anything. His tweet read, “Despite all efforts by handsome PM @ImranKhanPTI, Pakistan continues to be in the grey list of @FATFNews.Looks don’t help when you’re expected to act. Fail to understand by what scale Imran Khan is handsome. Handsome is what handsome does. Sponsoring terror is never handsome. Period.”

Hussain’s comment came after a FATF sub-group, on Tuesday, recommended that Pakistan be retained in the grey list of the global terror financing watchdog. The recommendation came in connection with the country’s failure to keep a check on terror funding. According to media reports, a final decision about the same would be announced within this week.
FATF, in a statement, said, “Six days of meetings will focus on global action to follow the money that fuels crime and terrorism and reduce the harm caused to people and society.
