SRINAGAR, NOVEMBER 03: Minister for Agriculture, Mr. Ghulam Nabi Lone Hanjura today visited various areas in Chrar-e-Sharief constituency and took stock of the development works under execution there besides listening to people’s grievances. He also inaugurated New Type Primary Health Centre (NTPHC) at Baripathri.
Deputy Commissioner, Budgam Mir Altaf Ahmad and Senior Officers of PHE, Irrigation, R&B, PDD, Health, Education, Rural Development, Revenue and Consumer Affairs and Public Distribution departments accompanied the Minister during his visit.
Referring to Chief Minister Mufti Mohammad Sayeed’s 2002-2005 tenure, Mr. Hanjura said that holistic development and sense of security among the people were witnessed during the period. He said the present coalition Government is fully aware about the people’s problems and committed to fulfill the people’s grievances as per their aspirations.
The people projected several demands which include Degree College and Education Zone for Pakharpora, construction of lanes, drains and protection bunds.
The Minister assured them that the demands projected would be looked into and redressed properly by taking up with the concerned departments.
