Srinagar, February 29: In good news for the students from Kashmir Valley, the Directorate of School Education as made a decision to make the first week of the school work, a celebration.
The schools of winter zone are scheduled to reopen on March 1 after a long winter break. The decision has been made by DESK with a view to establish good Student-Teacher relationship in the school.
The notification has been issued to all the schools in Kashmir Valley in which the staff is directed to conduct counseling sessions for the students. Also, the students will be taken to meet the elders of their locality to gain experience.
The staff has been directed to talk about how did the students spend winters and also to review their winter task.
Dr Shah Faesal, Director of School Education in Kashmir has said that the directorate is going to make 2016 a year full of Academic activities.
“It is not sufficient to compensate only in working days, so winter tutorials will be now done as evening classes,” he added.
