Jammu: National Investigation Agency has carried a series of raids at the residences and possible hideouts of fourteen of J&K’s most wanted militants who have so far remained untraceable.
Shockingly, in the list of the fourteen is a minor who carries a bounty of Rs 10 lakh on his head. Here is a list of eleven out of the fourteen ultras who are on the most wanted list.
Junaid Akram Malik of Kishtwar
Khurshid Ahmad of Pahalgam
Farooq of Kulgam
Fayaz Ahmad of Kulgam
Nazir Ahmad of Sopore
Mubarak Shah of Sopore
Mohammad Maqbool Pandit of Pattan
Manzoor Ahmad Dar of Baramulla
Ghulam Nabi Khan of Pahalgam and
Abdul Majid Sofi of Sopore
Syed Salahuddin (HM Supremo)
All these men are alleged to have been involved in terror incidents not only in Jammu and Kashmir but also in other parts of the country.
NIA has not handled many cases in J&K. The NIA was asked to setup shop in Jammu after the Udhampur attack where a militant was caught alive by locals.
Most of the militants in the list are still at large.
Notices against them have also been issued by NIA in their respective districts. Some of them have Interpol’s Red Corner notices issued against them. Junaid is the youngest of all of them and also has a Red Corner notice issued against him.
Earlier in 2102, NIA had released a list of 10 most wanted militants and listed Junaid as one among them.
