Jammu, 24 April: Whispers in the corridors of the secretariat here in winter capital are reflective of how the first woman Chief Minister of the state is being perceived with her style of functioning. What remains a fact is that the secretariats in both the capitals have witnessed many ministers come and go but it is for the first time that the corridors are faced with a Woman Chief Minister.
Those inside the secretariat who have had a chance to work closely with her are of the opinion that she has a working pattern which is very similar to her father, the ex-Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir who passed away in the beginning of this year.
Little birdies also confirm that the first woman CM has been working hard on ground but silently comparing her working style and calling it the exact opposite of a former Chief Minister and current NC working President, Omar Abdullah.
Many people have also spoken about her out and loud support for women centered schemes and any mechanism that can be employed for the betterment of women. The point of discussion was the recent proposal to make operational four more all women police stations in four districts of the state to control crime against women.
However, there are those who are skeptical too and say that either her work will speak for itself and that can mean another term for her or, her lack of experience will start showing itself in days to come.
