Hideout busted in Bilawar explosives Cache recovered

In a joint operation, the Army’s Rising Star Corps Intelligence Unit and J&K Police recovered a cache of locally made explosives, alongwith a number of other items which can be used in making Improvised Explosive Devices from the remote village of Jutha near Bilawar in Kathua District.

Based on specific information, the troops of the Army’s Intelligence Corps and J&K Police, undertook a joint search of the suspected location. The search of suspected area yielded recovery of locally made explosives, glass shrapnels, pencil batteries, gelatin sticks, primer cords and detonator. The recovered items could be used in preparing lethal Improvised Explosive Devices. Further investigation are on.
