High Alert in Jammu after Infiltration information
Jammu, March 16: Reportedly, 6 infiltrators have crossed the border and entered Indian soil which has set an alarm. The infiltration is reported to have took place in Samba and Kathua district J&K. Adjoining city Jammu is on ‘High Alert’ since this information has been received by the security forces.
Late night, blockades were set up at places in Jammu and security has been increased at institutions such as GMC, Jammu, reports a local daily. It states that sources have informed that the IG orders have emphasised to check suspicious vehicles.
The report adds that after the Nagrota militant attack, it is commendable that the information received beforehand has been duly acknowledged and security forces have been mobilised accordingly.
