Posters, printed on the letter heads of Hizb-ul-Mujahideen, warning some people to mend their ways, surfaced in Old City of Srinagar district in Central Kashmir on Friday late night. Reports reveal that the posters, in Urdu, were pasted at Bahaudin Sahib in Nowhatta locality.They named five locals and warned them: “You should immediately mend your all wrong ways as this is the first and last warning. And approach your respective Masjids to repent. The person who does not mend his ways shall be responsible on his own for the consequences.” These posters created tension in the area. Meanwhile police is looking into the matter.
