Hizb releases poster threatening Kashmir Policemen

Srinagar, July 29: Militant outfit Hizb-ul-Mujahideen has asked policemen in Kashmir to leave their duties and return to their homes in a week’s time.

The threat is not so much on life as it is on the social boycott of them and their families. The posters clearly mention that if the policemen do not return to their homes in a week’s time, their families would be subjected to a social boycott.

These Posters printed on a Hizb letter head and sealed “District Commander, Islamabad, HizbulMujahideen” were yesterday found pasted outside many mosques across Anantnag and Bijbehara towns.

The police have said that they were investigating the matter.
