Hizbul Mujahidin Threat Poster in Pattan

Baramulla, October 17: Handwritten posters were found pasted on the electric poles in the main market of Pattan town in Baramulla on Friday morning. The poster consisted of a threat by a one of the top terrorist groups, Hizbul Mujahideen who are active in the valley.

The message written in the poster was for the people involved in the immoral and anti-Islamic activities like liquor and flesh trade and it says that the people who indulged in such activities should either stop or be ready to face the consequences.

The poster also added that the terrorist group knows all about the people who are involved in these anti-islamic trades but they have kept it confidential because they don’t want to defame the ‘violators’ before the general public.

Although the police department is suspecting the terror outfit Hizbul Mujahideen’s hand behind the poster but is not sure. “It is not for the first time that such posters are being installed in the Valley. The posters can be installed by some terrorist or it can be a handiwork of pranksters. We are not sure of it yet and we are investigating the matter”, said a police official.
