Hon’ble JK CM Visited Chamber House in Jammu
On the request of President Chamber of Commerce & Industry Jammu Sh. Rakesh Gupta the Hon’ble Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti visited the Chamber House , the first ever Chief Minister to have visited the Chamber House for interaction with Womens group regarding providing more facilities towards Women empowerment and creating more opportunities for Women entrepreneurship.
The Chief Minister on this occasion was accompanied by Hon’ble Speaker Sh. Kavinder Gupta, Hon’ble Finance Minister Dr. Haseeb A Drabu, Hon’ble Minister for Industries and Commerce Sh. CHander Parkash Ganga, Hon’ble MOS for Health and Medical Education Ms. Asiya Naqash and Commissioner Secretary Industries and Commerce Sh. Shailendra Kumar.
The Chamber President submitted a Memorandum to the Hon’ble Chief Minister on this occasion which reads as under:
We wish to convey our sincere thanks and compliments to your goodselves for you active participation on Twitter.
We have personally observed our Hon’ble Chief Minister taking personal interest in the various challenges faced by the people in this trouble torn state.
Ø On these lines firstly we request you madam to kindly to instruct to start a twitter handle specifically to deal with the grievances of women.
Ø Madam, we also request you to start the facility of Micro Finance for women wherein the self help groups could utilize this Micro finance to start their own business. The State of Andhra Pradesh has successfully implemented this model already.
Ø Madam, we would also request your goodselves to pass on necessary urgent instructions to put in place portable Toilets at all important public spaces at the cost which every common women could afford.
Ø Madam, we would request your goodselves to pass on necessary instructions for a special dedicated desk at the Entrepreneurship Development Institute to guide the upcoming Women entrepreneurs and also launch entrepreneur development programs in rural areas.
Ø Madam, we would also request your goodselves to help the artisans and artists in Basoli with an ONLINE marketing portal so that they could get handsome and appropriate returns for their hard work and talent.
Ø Madam, we would also request your goodselves to pass on necessary instructions for appointment of women councillors in all government schools and Colleges who could assess at advise upon issues relating to career and conflict so that the women attain work life balance.
Ø Madam, we would also request your goodselves to start for female students / women entrepreneurs intra region interactive sessions which we feel shall really contribute towards bridging the gaps between the three regions of the state.
Ø Madam, we would request your goodselves to pass on necessary instructions for getting zebra crossings visible on the roads across the state so that public at large could be made aware to cross the roads on these zebra markings which shall avoid many accidental cases happening off and on.
