A teacher from Rajouri district has set a unique example for the entire community by constructing a classroom on her own expenses and later handed it over to the Chief Education Officer on Monday.
Rajinder Kour Bali, a teacher at the Middle School in Ghawan village that falls under the Kalakot Education Zone in Rajori, constructed a well-furnished classroom from her savings for pre-primary students of the school.
The school connected with shabby link road from Rajal Morh on the Jammu-Poonch highway. A total of 63 students are enrolled in the school and 21 children are in pre-primary level and five teachers have been appointed in the school. But the students were facing problems of accommodation. To this, the teacher took an initiative to get a class constructed for the students.
Choudary Altaf Hussain, the Chief Education Officer, visited the school on Monday and recognized Bali’s efforts. While appreciating her selfless dedication towards her profession and her service directed to improve the education standards in the area, he exhorted other teachers to follow her footsteps. The approach of Mrs. Bali is exemplary for the entire teaching fraternity of the state that urges them to come to the forefront and provide their students with the best of everything.
