Jammu, October 21: After being stressed upon by Youth PDP leaders Wasil Doolwal and Rashid Lone, Kishtwar Police have started investigations into the unregistered NGOs and fake Facebook IDs. As reported in a daily, once identified, police will take legal action against the people behind the fake and unregistered NGOs functioning in the State and Kishtwar District.

“These people are involved in anti-social activities by misusing the social media, thus causing law and order problems by spreading hate messages”, said these youth leaders.

They added “If such elements are not curbed with iron hand there is every apprehension of law and problem in this district as well as in State of Jammu and Kashmir as severe resentment is prevailing amongst the peace loving youths of Kishtwar.”

Urging the government to bar government officials from using social media, they said that some of the government officials are showing pro-activeness on social media which can be proved harmful.
