Jammu, February 04: The Former Chief Minister and leader of National Conference on Wednesday made a statement that if PDP want to have the support of his party for government formation, it would have to approach him.
As per the report of a local daily, National conference has emerged as the third largest party by winning 15 seats in the Assembly elections held last year. It has also offered support to the PDP after the announcement of election results.
While talking to the local daily over phone, the NC working president said, NC’s offer to form govt with PDP was a one time offer to keep the BJP out of power but it has no relevance now. Both PDP and BJP came together to form a coalition government. There are no beggars in the market. If the PDP needs support, it will have to approach NC.
He further added that by praising the Prime Minister during a rally in Srinagar, Mehbooba has defended the decision of allying with BJP at every level. She has expressed satisfaction during her interviews. But now, PDP President has become suddenly dissatisfied with the alliance now, but nothing has changed except Mufti Mohammad Sayeed’s death.
