Srinagar, March 30: In an exclusive interview with U4U VOICE, IG Kashmir, Syed Javaid Mujtaba Gillani, has mentioned that the water is receding now in many places in Kashmir and is already below the Danger mark. He has appealed to all the residents in Kashmir to not panic as the situation is now getting under control.
Mr. Gillani said over the telephone, “The situation is improving as the water levels which had risen past the danger levels are now receding. The situation is already NOT flood-like situation in multiple locations and there is no need to panic.”
The statement by IG Kashmir comes as a relief since the weatherman has predicted rains for next 48 hours in Jammu and Kashmir and particularly in the valley because of western disturbances.
