Imran Ansari visits Women’s Polytechnic Bemina


          BARAMULLA: The Minister for Technical Education, Youth Services, Sports and Information Technology, Moulvi Imran Raza Ansari today visited the Government Polytechnic College for Women, Srinagar.

          Accompanied by concerned officers the Minister took round of the college campus spread over twelve acres of land.

          The Minister was informed that the departments located in the ground floor including Textile, Food Technology, Electronic Communication, Garment Technology were damaged during September floods. He was told that these departments need to be restored for which Rs. 8 crore are required.

          The Minister assured the college administration that the college would be completely restored and projected restoration costs would be submitted to the concerned quarters for early sanction.       

          During the visit, Imran Ansari inaugurated “Deodar Plantation Drive” of 2500 Deodar saplings which will be supplied to all polytechnic institutions across the valley.
