Arrest of the MLA Engineer Rashid for hurting the sentiments of the people of the state and country by organizing the beef Party in MLA Hostel and no case has yet been registered against him. “The BJP-PDP govt. had failed to take due cognizance and remained a mute spectator.”, he said. He added that BJP MLAs who were supposed to rake up the issue in the Assembly for arrest and eventual disqualification of Engineer Rashid as MLA, merely remained content by indulging in confused fracas thus allowing the culprit to go scot free.
Dimple coming down heavily on the statement of Mr. Nirmal Singh Deputy chief Minister regretting the so called assault on Engineer Rashid had come as a great shocker, for the crores of hindus.
He said Dr. Nirmal Singh shamefully apologized to the delinquent MLA. He expressed his dismay that the delinquent MLA who ought to have been in jail was made a hero in Assembly with the state govt. tendering apologies to him.
Dimple demanded the govt. to initiate criminal proceedings against Engineer Rashid.
