Inquiry against 4 Rajouri teachers for ‘child abuse’

The District Education Planning Officer, Rajouri, has constituted a three-member committee to probe the allegations of child abuse against four teachers, including a headmaster, of government schools. One Abdul Rehman, a resident of Parat Dharoon in Rajouri, on Thursday approached Additional District Magistrate, Rajouri, Sher Singh with a written complaint against the erring teachers. The complainant alleged that four teachers of three schools, including a headmaster, were involved in child abuse and had reportedly the struck off the names of a few students for raising the issue with their parents. The ADM has directed the office of the Chief Executive Officer, Rajouri, to initiate an inquiry in the case. oc
