J&K Sarpanches accuse BJP, Modi of indifference; allege Patna visit politicized
Taking a jibe at BJP and its Prime Ministerial Candidate Narendra Modi for politicizing their visit to the families of victims of Patna Serial Blasts in Bihar, All Jammu and Kashmir Panchayat Conference has called it as politically motivated and selective. Anil Sharma, AJKPC President has said that the there must no discrimination between the terror affected victims be it Bihar or Jammu and Kashmir.
” Though we welcome that Bhartiya Janta Party and Modi giving away relief amount of Rs. 5 Lakh to the family members of the deceased persons of Patna serial blast but why no word of sympathy and concern for the brave Panches and Sarpanches of Jammu and Kashmir who are fighting for the cause of democracy despite all the hostile conditions, the Bhartiya Janta Party must apprise its Prime Ministerial Candidate that 6 innocent Panchayat members have been brutally killed by the terrorists in the state of Jammu and Kashmir which is also a part of India’ , Anil said.
The Panchayat leader accused Modi of playing politics over the dead bodies just to garner support in his favour. He said, since in Jammu and Kashmir there is hardly any presence of Bhartiya Janta Party and perhaps this fact is very well known to Mr Modi and his party that they cannot get any political mileage from J & K that is why they ignored the terror victims of J & K state especially the Panches and Sarpanches who are being killed mercilessly. Meanwhile, today Anil Sharma being president of the organization also nominated Kulbushan Khajuria as Additional General Secretary (State), Alam Choudhary Sarpanch of Bhatindi and Mohd Aslam Kohli of Surankote as State Secretaries whereas Fayaz Ahmad Khanday of Banihal, Raj Mohammad Chandel of Udhampur Raghubir Singh of Kathua and Sardar Gurbachan Singh have also been inducted in the State executive body of the organization.
