Jammu and Kashmir: PSC reschedules interviews following inclement weather

Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commissioner (PSC) has announced fresh dates for candidates from Kashmir who are not able to reach Jammu to appear in scheduled interviews.

“We are aware that Srinagar-Jammu highway is closed and air traffic is disrupted at Srinagar Airport due to bad weather conditions. We urge candidates to not worry as we will announce fresh dates for them,” Chairman PSC, Latief-u-Zaman Deva told Media Sources over phone.

Meanwhile, JK PSC has released a notification providing waiver to the candidates appearing for Assistant Professor interviews (Botany).

According to Secretary, J&K Public Service Commission the candidates appearing for interview for the post of Assistant Professor (Botany) who may, in case of inclement weather, not be able to appear in the interview on their due dates scheduled to be held w.e.f 18 January 2017 shall have the option to appear in the interview on any day/date upto 20 January 2017.
