The Class 11 exams for the first time are being conducted by the board. Earlier they used to be conducted as in-house exams by the schools.

The students were holding placards and banners which read “defer our exams” and “We want Justice.” The protesting students asked the authorities, especially JK Board of School Education (BOSE) to reschedule their exams to mid-November so that they could complete their syllabus.
