Jammu Bandh: 70 Crores of Business lost in 4 days

Jammu, August 4:  Not only the life of the common man city has been effected due to Jammu Bandh announced by AIIMS Coordination Committee from the last four days but crores of Business has also been lost. Result, the Bandh is hitting most sections of society.

All the main markets of Jammu have remained closed for the last four days  because of the complete shutdown and almost 70 crores of Business is said to habe been lost which has shattered the economy of the state. Sources have claimed that in past four days loss around six crores of Income Tax, four to five crores of VAT, one crore of toll tax and passenger tax has also been recorded.

Due to the closure of vegetable and fruits market at Narwal, huge quantity of vegetables and fruits were spoiled. Petrol pumps also remained closed affecting the life in the city.

      i think sir, you are mentioning a statement from Tribune made by Chamber of commerce prez Yash Pal Gupta if I am right.

      I was also wondering how 70 Crores has been mentioned. Only Amar Ujala has made this figure of 70 Crore public

    all credits goes to congres and party…. mere khayal se hamare jo existing hospital hai usi ki halat durust kar di jaye to kaafi hai , jaise aap superspaciality hospital hi dekh lo usme machiney tou latest hai per operate karne wala koi nahi na hi koi dhang ka doctor hai afsos uske baare mein tou kissi ne kuch nahi bola aaj tak , haan mante hai ki kuch pane ke liye kuch khona zaruri hai but yahan to agitation kam politics jaida ghus gayi hai …….daya to mujhe transporters pe aati hai jinki gadiyan kitne dino se band padi hai per bank to koi taras nahi karega unpe,Shri amranath agitation yaad hai na sabse jaida nuksaan unhi logon ka hua tha aur aj bhi ho raha hai ….. shops subah aur sham ko khul jaati hai dosto.
