Jammu, February 16: As per the ratings given by Asian Chess Federation (ACF), Jammu’s budding chess player Aakash Deep Singh Bhatia is the fastest growing Amateur chess player in Asia.
The announcement was made by the federation in the list published on its official website www.asianchess.com.
Besides Aakash Bhatia, the second top position has been bagged by another Indian player Banerjee Ashutosh and third by an Australian Au Alexander.
The list says that the rating for Aakash Deep increased by 227 points during 14th Parsvnath Delhi International Open Grandmaster Chess Tournament 2016. Here he competed with the Grandmasters from Germany, Hungary, Russia and United States among others.
His owes this grand success to his coach Vivek and his team.
