Jammu : FIR lodged against four in Pro-Pak slogans at Nowshera, Details here


Rajouri police have lodged two separate First Information Reports (FIRs) in pro-Pakistan sloganeering during protests at Nowshera town, in last two days.

Sources informed that SSP Rajouri, Yougal Manhas has told media in Rajouri that two separate FIRs naming four persons for raising pro-Pakistan slogans in Nowshera have been lodged and accused are absconding.

Police said that there is no compromise on anti national activities or sloganeering anywhere in Rajouri.

The accused are identified as  — Arun Gupta, Ashi Gupta, Gurmeet Singh, Avtar Singh — are absconding and a manhunt has been launched to arrest them, the SSP said.
The police has warned the people not to indulge in any kind of “unlawful” activity in the name of agitation violate law of the land”, he added.
