Jammu : Four critically injured in gas cylinder explosion


At least three people were seriously  injured as a domestic cylinder exploded on Wednesday in a house in Reasi district of Jammu and Kashmir.

“A LPG cylinder exploded during wee hours in the house of one Rakesh Thapa, resident of Ward Number 6 in Reasi, in which Four people were injured,” police here said.

The injured were identified as Ramesh Kumar (36), son of Jagan Nath, Vikram Mangi (43), son of Yog Raj, Rashpaul Kumar (45), son of Daulat Ram & Rakesh Singh (33).

All injured people have been shifted to district Hospital Reasi.

“Fire tenders were pressed into service and they timely doused the flames thus preventing it from spreading to nearby houses,” police added.
