Even as the first schedule of one of the most awaited releases of 2017 – ‘Bhoomi’, directed by Omung Kumar, produced by Bhushan Kumar & Sandeep Singh is underway in Agra, the makers have revealed that actor Sidhant Gupta will be part of this stellar star cast.
Producers T- Series and Legend Studios have revealed that Sidhant Gupta known for his role in Zee TV’s Tashan-E-Ishq, will play the role of Aditi Rao Hydari’s love interest in ‘Bhoomi.’
He was also seen as a contestant on popular show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa in 2009.
As we know, ‘Bhoomi’ has been slated to be a father daughter revenge drama that is high on emotion, the father of course being played by Sanjay Dutt and daughter by Aditi Rao Hydari. Audiences and fans will be excited to see the kind of on screen chemistry that develops between Aditi and Sidhant.
Sidhant Gupta commented on his stupendous breakthrough, “Acting has always been my dream. I was thrilled when Omung Sir told me that I will be playing an important part in ‘Bhoomi.’ I really admire his work; learning from him will be an experience. I am so excited to be part of this film with such a stellar star cast. I am really looking forward to working opposite Aditi and moreover being in a film where Sanjay Sir is making his comeback. It is a huge honour for an actor like me to be given this opportunity and I will give in my best to this film.”

The Tashn-e-Ishq actor has become the latest heard throbs with girls swooning to catch the glimpse of the charming lad. Popularly, known ny his character name Kunj, Sidhanth even posses excellent Dancing skills as were scene in celebrity dance reality show, Jhalak Dikhlaja.
He might be an actor today but Sidhant Gupta, who’s appeared in a couple of Bollywood films, has not only represented Jammu and Kashmir in three sports, but was also training to become a pilot. “I belong to Jammu and have represented J&K in national level under-14 cricket, under-17 swimming and under-19 basketball. It’s funny that though I tried my hands at three sports, I pursued none. I think I was destined to become an actor,” says Sidhant, who was recently in Lucknow and is set to make his debut on TV with the serial ‘Tashan-e-Ishq’.
Sidhant’s schooling was from JK Public School, Jammu, after which he shifted to Delhi to pursue his childhood dream of becoming a pilot.
