Jammu Lad scores fastest fifty in the history of Ranji Trophy

Bandeep Singh, the right-hand batsman belonging to Jammu and Kashmir has hit the fastest 50 in the history of Ranji Trophy in the ongoing Ranji Trophy tournament in Agartala on Sunday.

On the third day of group C match, Bandeep Singh achieved this landmark of hitting a half-century in just 15 balls. With this, Bandeep Singh has now placed himself in the record books of Indian cricket.

Earlier, the record was held together by Shakti Singh of Himachal Pradesh and Yusuf Pathan of Baroda who has scored fifty runs in 18 balls in 1991 and 2013 respectively.

The match sadly ended in a draw with Jammu and Kashmir getting three points from the match.
