Jammu Sanskirti School celebrates Dusshera

Jammu, Oct 21: Dusshera is an auspicious  day in the year of Hindu faith it is a major festival and involves huge celebration. In mood of celebration Jammu Sanskriti School celebrated Dusshera. A special assembly was organized on this occasion which started with Qwali presented by class VI to VIII. Ms. Rohini Anand and Mrs.Shifaly spoke about the importance of Dusshera that it is a day of celebrating the victory of good over evil. Girls of class IV to VIII presented Giddha on this Occasion. A Jhanki was taken out by preprimary students depicting the mythological characters of Little Ram, Lakshman and Sitaji with Nanha Hanuman  which left the audience awestruck.The programme ended with Ravana Dahan. The students were inspired to adopt the virtue of Non Violence, love, and compassion and peace. Principal cum Vice Chairperson Mrs.Rohini Aima, briefed the student about the importance of festivals of all religions and to adopt the teachings for the benefit of the mankind. Mrs.Prabhjot Kour (Senior Co-ordinator) congralulated the students with the message of love and compassion. She stressed to understand the value of money. Mrs.Varuna Mangotra( primary coordinator) also graced the occasion. It was co-ordinated by Mrs.Nidhi Kohli(CCA Co-ordinator) and Mrs.Trishna Sharma(Assembly Incharge).
