Jammu: The Unique Hub of India (an organisation started by the youth of Jammu) is organising a blood donation camp for the Indian Army on 2nd October at Government Medical College (GMC).
The youth have organized the blood donation camp for soldiers of India especially keeping in mind the war-like situation according to one of the quartet.
Interestingly, 500 young men and women have already volunteered and registered as blood donors.
“We are organising the blood donation camp only for the Indian Army. The current state of affairs between India and Pakistan is tense and warlike situation can escalate any time. It would be a shame for us if a soldier dies due to blood shortage. Although, it is small initiative but we are hopeful that soon it will expand, “said Vinod Sharma one of the members of the organisation.
He further added that India has the largest youth population in the world. We, as a nation, must support and stand behind the army, no matter what.
“Neetaji Subhash Chander Bose had once said, ‘You give me blood and I shall give you freedom’ but today we want to tell this to Indian Army, ‘We will give you blood and you give us united India,’ ” he said.
