Jat Sabha demands compensation for Baltal victims
Jammu, July 19: Jammu and Kashmir Jat Kalyan Sabha (JKS),today condemned the attacks on Amarnath Yatra at Baltal in Kashmir Valley and criticized the state administration and Shrine Board for not taking timely action to control the situation.
Jat President Choudhary Kamal Singh urged upon the state government and Shrine Board to immediately control the situation and arrest the miscreants who are involved in the clash. He further demanded full compensation for the Langer committees and others who have suffered
huge loss on account of attack by local mob.
He also demanded to provide immediately adequate security to the Amarnath Yatris and said that Amarnath Yatra is not just a pilgrimage but an annual event of national importance which
brings people from all section of society from across the country together besides providing employment to the local people for two months in both the regions.
