JCC urges to fulfill 2 major demands
Jammu, July 19: Showing great resentment over the callous attitude of the government to settle the two major demands, the members of Joint Consultative Committee (JCC) demanded to make regularization policy for Casual Labours / Contractual/ Need basis etc. and removal of pay disparity of the pre revised grade 6500-10500 & Clerical Staff.
JCC members Amrik Singh, Ganesh Khajuria, Balwinder Singh , Darminder Singh Bhargav while addressing the meeting said that on one hand more over the newly recruited /appointed junior Assistants are graduate /post graduate and having diploma/degree in computer which is totally injustice and mockery with their higher qualification to appoint them in 5200-20200+1900 Grade pay ,and other hand a graduate Teacher appointed in 5200-20200+2800 Grade pay which shows huge difference in Grade pay
They said that to consider the demand of age enhancement was the historical decision of Chief Minister Omar Abdullah and his collation partners and also appeals to the CM to fulfill the commitment made with JCC to settle the rest two demands.
The leaders further appeal CM to enhance the Medical allowance from 300 to Rs.1000/ and release of 10% DA in favour State Government Employees before Eid-Ul-Fitar.
