Jhelum level still above danger mark in Sangam and Ram Munshibagh

Jhelum Level at 1800 hours

 


Sangam – 27.10 (RED)
Ram Munshibagh  – 21.40 ft (RED)
Asham – 13.41 ft (YELLOW)

Several regions of South Kashmir were inundated on Thursday amid with Jhelum flowing above the danger mark after heavy rain lashed the region. A  flood alert was sounded late on Wednesday night in Anantnag and Pulwama districts with the MeT Department predicting heavier rain in the next 48 hours.
