J&K: 46 Lecturers, teachers Suspended for allowing students to ‘cheat’ in BOSE Exams

Srinagar, October 11: The J&K government has suspended 46 employees including lecturers, masters, teachers, non-teaching staff and class IV employees who were found abetting use of unfair means and violating the sanctity of examinations conducted by JK Board of School Education.

“The employees were given an opportunity of being heard to explain their position and thereafter cases were referred to sub-committee of JK BOSE on unfair means which after deliberating upon the matter in detail, found them guilty,” the order reads.

The order states that the staff has been debarred from taking BOSE assignments of invigilation for violating the sanctity of examination.

“The case was referred to administrative department. It has been found that the staff has breached the trust reposed in them and have indulged in acts which attract further punitive action in terms of J&K civil service (classification, control and appeal) rules 1956,” the order reads.
